If you need to get some expensvie dental work done, I would highly suggest you try Mexico.

If you have health insurance through your company then you probably know that most likely dental is not covered. Some really good insurance policies still have it but its not the norm nowadays and your are still responsible for 20% of the cost.

So if you have to pay for dental work out of pocket why not go to Mexico to get it done. They have some very good dentists there who will charge you 1/4 of the cost a dentist in the United States would charge.

A friend of mine just came back from a vacation in Mexico. He got some dental work done while he was there. This included an exam, several root canals, and three fillings. He had quite a few cavities! I had no idea.

The dentist here gave him an estimate of $5,000 to do the work here. He got the work done in Mexico for $2000. That's a savings of $3,000.

Another friend of mine needed some veneers put in. He loves to play hockey, and goes all out, but unfortunately teeth are not indestructible so he chipped a 2 of them in the last couple months. It would have cost him a couple thousand dollars for this type of cosmetic dental surgery in the states but in ended up costing him $1000 in Mexico.

They can do the exact same procedures that American dentist do. This includes whitening stained teeth, improving a gummy smile, closing tooth gaps, restoring chipped teeth, adding porcelain veneers, replacing fillings, smile enhancement, enamel shaping, contouring, and finally dental bridges. There is not anything they cannot do.

I have been told nothing but good things about it.

If cosmetic dentistry south of the border is of the highest caliber then why is it so much more cheaper?

They do not have the high outrageous insurance rates and other costs that cosmetic dentist practices in the US have to pay. You would not believe the difference! So much of what you pay to go to any specialized doctor will just be to cover the insurance and administrative costs. In Mexico they do not have those costs.

Weight out your options and look into it. There are many sites that allow you to compare costs. Schedual a visit while you are on vacation. Kill two birds with one stone and save a lot of money.

Having your dental procedures done in Mexico is a great way to save money. Not many people realize that the dentists in Mexico are just as qualified as the ones in the United States. Thank you for sharing the stories of your friends with others so that everyone can have the option to afford the dental procedures that they need or want.
